London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Michelle & Tylor's Springbank Park Engagement Session
I absolutely loved Michelle and Tylor's Springbank Park engagement session last Spring. Colour, colour and more COLOUR! From magnolia blooms to cherry blossoms to wildflowers to the greenest grass and willow tree leaves. This session is everything that Spring should be, with a sunset by the water to finish it off. Michelle and Tylor are the cutest, most down to earth couple, and I am so excited for their upcoming Spring wedding. It's always a huge honour to photograph a fellow photographer and I couldn't be more thrilled to document Michelle and Tylor's love story!
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Rojin & Omar's Elsie Perrin Engagement Session
These two beautiful people were such a joy to work with last year, from their fun Spring engagement session to their gorgeous UWO wedding, which I can't wait to blog in the next few weeks! We met at Elsie Perrin Williams Estate for their engagement shoot, a location I love because you get a woodsy trail, wooden fence, gorgeous estate property and, in the Spring, a beautiful Magnolia tree all in one place. I just loved this session and am thrilled to be sharing my favourites on the blog today. Enjoy!
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Kate & Matt's Fall Engagement Session
Last Fall, I met Matt and Kate in the woods for their engagement session. We chatted about their upcoming Elm Hurst wedding (which was lovely, and I can't wait to blog soon!) and took some photos surrounded by the most vibrant, beautiful Fall colours. Here are some favourites!
London Ontario Photographer | Kristy & Brian's Engagement/Family Session
I first photographed Kristy and Brian and their sweet little guy for their engagement/family session late last year. With the winter wonderland outside right now (That I am LOVING, by the way!), it's so hard to believe that this is what it looked like exactly 1 year ago (minus one day!). What a beautiful afternoon this was with that golden December sun shining. I can't wait to blog Kristy and Brian's wedding soon, but for now here are my favourites from their engagement shoot!
London Ontario Wedding Photography | Chris & Stephanie's Golden Hour Engagement
I met Chris and Stephanie 2 days before their October wedding. This is also when I photographed their engagement session, as they both live in Alberta and would not be coming to Ontario before the actual wedding. With very little time to reschedule in case of rain, we got lucky and enjoyed the most beautiful Fall evening, with that gorgeous golden pre-sunset light in all its glory. I had so much fun with these two. Stephanie and Chris are totally laid back, up for anything (like Chris carrying Stephanie on his back and jumping stones to get to a perfect spot in the middle of a stream) and always laughing. Here are my favourites from their session!
London Ontario Lifestyle Photographer | 2015 Favourites
2015 was such a special year for me, because we welcomed our second daughter, Naia Rose, into our lives. While I certainly didn't take the year off, I did take a few months of rest and a reduced workload for the rest of the year, which means I really got to savour every wedding and every session in a way that I don't often get to when I'm booking double or triple the amount of work. It's crazy to me that 2015 is already over, and it's been so fun to look back through the archives. Every year it is both delightful and agonizing to put this massive favourites post together. Delightful because I revisit my favourite work from the previous year and reminisce. Agonizing because I actually have to choose. I love all of my clients and walk away from each session and wedding with something positive, so this is by no means a list of favourite clients. Rather, it's a collection of images that, when I took them and when I looked back on them, made my heart skip a beat. Maybe it's perfect, delicious golden light. Or a sweet, candid mother-daughter moment. Maybe it's that moment a child is laughing so hard his eyes are squinting or a couple sharing an intimate look after saying "I do". Sometimes it's something more technical, like the composition of an image or the contrast between shadow and light that I'm really proud of. Regardless of the exact reason behind each image, these are the images that make me the most proud and excited when I look back on my 2015 portfolio. I hope you enjoy scrolling through them! <3
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Emily & John's Western University Campus Engagement
I so enjoyed photographing Emily and John's campus engagement. These grounds hold a lot of history for these two, and it was such fun exploring all of the amazing little spots UWO has to offer with them. I loved everything about this session - the gorgeous backdrop, Emily's amazing dress, their adorable pup, and most of all how they make each other laugh. Their chemistry was so special, and I am so excited to be photographing their 2016 wedding! Here are some favourites from the engagement session!
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Jay and Sarah's Wortley Village Engagement
When I first "met" Jay and Sarah via Skype I was immediately struck by how kind and genuine they were, and I so hoped that I would be given the honour of shooting their wedding. Lucky me, that wedding is coming up this weekend and I couldn't be more excited! We explored Wortley Village at sunset for their engagement session and had so much fun. Scroll down and check out their adorable dog. Melt my heart! <3
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Alisha & Kyle's Arva Flour Mill Engagement Session
I had so much fun with Alisha and Kyle as we explored the grounds of the Arva Flour Mill at sunset. These two are seriously adorable and I can't wait to shoot their upcoming wedding! Here are some favourites from their session.
London Ontario Photographer | Magnolia Blossom Mini Sessions
This is the first year I've decided to do three rounds of mini sessions, and to open them up to everyone - families, couples, maternity, you name it! The first round was in early May under a beautiful blooming Magnolia tree, and it was a perfect way for me to kick start my photography season after a short (but very sweet!) maternity leave. :) Here are a few favourites from those minis. They were taken throughout the early morning and evening, and it went from cloudy to sunny to cloudy to sunny... so the lighting in each set is a bit different.
Can't wait for the Summer Beach Minis and the Fall Wild Field Minis coming up!
