Laurel and Ariel had a charming micro-wedding on a windy April day and set aside a window of time to sneak out to the field, just the two of them, for some intimate wedding photos. I love a good windswept hair/veil moment, and this shoot was full of them. Here are some favourites!
I cannot even begin to express how much I loved being a part of this day. As part of the amazing HRM Photography Team, Niki is both a pal and an industry colleague, and it was such a huge honour to be asked to photograph her wedding while her HRM family attended as guests. Niki and Tim are so much fun to work with, and their wedding was one for the books. From their early morning outdoor Hindu ceremony (an exciting first for me!) to their indoor reception (complete with an outfit change!) - all on the beautiful Pioneer Village grounds - the whole day was a dream. I have such great memories from this day, and lucky me, it was featured in the Fall/Winter 2019 print edition of The Wedding Ring, so I can flip through the magazine and reminisce whenever I like! I absolutely loved working with this sweet couple. They just exude kindness, and their entire day was filled with joy and laughter. Their wedding took place on a beautiful farm property, with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour surrounded by trees and overlooking the pond, followed by a stunning barn reception. We took their engagement photos on this same property, but during the Winter and in the middle of a blizzard! As a result, these two have two totally different sets of images from the same meaningful place. I have such happy memories from this cheerful, laid bak day - here are some favourites!

What a fun-filled day this was! Backyard weddings are always a favourite for me, and Britney and Gavin’s beautiful Stratford backyard wedding was no exception. Gavin is from Australia, and I absolutely loved the fun touches of Australian culture throughout the wedding, ending in the ultimate Canadian/Australian midnight buffet (scroll down to the end to see!). When I think back on this day, one of the things that stands out the most is the amazing live band that had everyone on their feet dancing the night away. It was such a lively party and we had a blast documenting it all! These two are the sweetest and so down-to-earth, and it was a joy to capture this day for them. Here are some favourites!

This day stands out as one for the books. All of the details came together perfectly for Karlie and Zak’s beautiful Arlington Hotel wedding. Paris, Ontario is the most charming little town and made for a stunning backdrop for their wedding photos. Sarah and Justin are one of the most adorable couples ever. Truly. These two are always laughing, snuggling, and looking at each other with so much love in their eyes. Not to mention Justin’s signature more (which I first saw during their downtown engagement session), kissing Sarah’s hand while walking hand in hand. (I just peeked at their engagement session blog post to get that link, and it turns out I wrote almost the exact same thing about them there, too. What can I say? They really are the cutest!) These two are such a joy to photograph, and so incredibly kind. I loved documenting their beautiful wedding ceremony at St George’s Anglican Church, followed by their lovely Old Courthouse reception. What a beautiful day this was. Brianne and Mike have such a beautiful connection and I absolutely loved helping them document their Bellamere Winery wedding. The rain made a few appearances throughout the day, but it was nothing cute umbrellas and a seamless switch to an indoor ceremony couldn’t handle. These two have smiles that light up a room and just radiate kindness. From my very first meeting with Bri in the early planning stages to delivering their completed gallery, working with them was a joy. Today I’m reminiscing about Christina and Danny’s beautiful backyard country wedding. We started at Fernwood Hills for a first look and couple/bridal party photos before heading back to their property for a lovely outdoor ceremony. The backyard tent was set up beautifully (with help from Deelish) and the entire evening was so relaxed and joyful. Here are some favourites from their special day!
I’m so happy to be sharing Chris and Christy’s beautiful West Haven Golf wedding. Christy was the maid of honour for one of my past brides, Lauren, and I was so delighted that Lauren was Christy’s matron of honour as well. It’s such a treat to bump into past wedding clients at weddings I’m shooting, and I am so thankful for the many generous referrals I’ve had over the years. Chris and Christy’s day was filled with laughter and sun with a Fall theme woven throughout their decor elements, from the “Mr & Mrs” pumpkins to their adorable cake topper to their Halloween-themed candy table.
