A few weeks ago, I took an alternate route to pick up my husband from work and was blown away by the gorgeous, yellow fields. I'm not sure what was growing to make them so richly coloured, but it took my breath away, and I drove 5 minutes past my turn because instead of looking for street signs, I was imaging a styled session. I instantly had a vision for a little girl, a flower crown, and the field right before sunset. I sent a text to my friend Allison - whose lovely daughter I have been photographing since infancy - and we started planning. I wanted this to be a sweet and simple session, nothing too fancy. I love the soft, pretty feel these photos have to them, and I'm so glad my vision was able to come to life! (You know you're a photographer when you see potential session locations everywhere!)
